What Organic SEO Services Actually Are
Organic SEO is the work that earns you a spot in the regular Google results, the ones nobody paid for. The ads at the top are bought by the click. Everything underneath is earned, and that is the part we do.
The distinction matters more than it sounds. Paid traffic stops the day the card stops working. Organic positions keep sending people to you after the invoice stops, which is why SEO is slow to start and hard to lose.
Content that answers the search
Google ranks the page that best answers what somebody typed. Most of SEO is building that page, then making it genuinely better than the ones currently above it.
Technical work so the page can be read
Site speed, crawlability, structure, schema markup, mobile rendering. None of it wins on its own. All of it can quietly stop good content from ranking.
Local signals for the map pack
Google Business Profile, consistent name and address data, and reviews. For an Omaha business competing locally, this is often worth more than the blue links below it.
Links from sites that matter
Other sites referencing yours is still how Google decides who is credible. Earned mentions, not bought lists.
What's Included in Our SEO Service
- ✓Keyword research & strategy
- ✓Content creation & optimization
- ✓Technical SEO audits
- ✓Google Business Profile & local SEO
- ✓Link building campaigns
- ✓Monthly performance reporting
- ✓Competitor analysis
Why SEO Matters
Most clicks go to organic results, not ads. Your competitors are already ranking. The positions above you were earned by somebody, and they can be earned back.
SEO is not quick, but it compounds. Paid ads stop the moment you stop paying. Organic positions keep working after the invoice does.
We focus on the keywords your customers actually search, starting with the ones closest to somebody deciding to buy.
Local SEO and the Omaha Map Pack
Local SEO is a different job to national SEO, and for most Omaha businesses it is the one that pays. When somebody searches with local intent, Google shows a map with three businesses in it before it shows a single ordinary result. Getting into that map is separate work from ranking underneath it, and the two do not automatically follow each other.
- →Google Business Profile set up properly, then actually maintained. Categories, service areas, hours, photos, posts. It is the highest-leverage local asset most businesses ignore after week one.
- →Name, address and phone consistency across the directories Google cross-references. Inconsistent data is a common and entirely fixable reason a business does not appear locally.
- →Review volume and recency, which feed map pack position directly. We will tell you how to ask. We will not write fake ones.
- →Location and service pages genuinely about a place, not the same paragraph with the city swapped. Google has been able to spot the latter for years.
Where we work
We work across the Omaha metro, which for search purposes means Douglas and Sarpy counties and the communities inside them: Omaha proper, Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista, Elkhorn, Gretna, Millard, and Council Bluffs across the river in Iowa. Those are separate searches with separate competition. A business in Papillion competing for "Omaha" alone is skipping the search its actual customers make.
How We Work
Research, content, technical and links, then reporting that names names.
01
Research
Keyword research and competitor analysis, so we target the searches your customers actually make rather than the ones that look impressive in a report.
02
Content
Content creation and on-page optimization that builds topical authority over time, starting with the pages closest to a buying decision.
03
Technical + Links
Technical SEO audits and link building campaigns, so the content you paid for is readable by Google and credible to it.
04
Reporting
Monthly reporting that names the page and the keyword that moved. Traffic went up is not a finding.
What SEO Costs in Omaha
The same three tiers as our pricing page, and the real numbers. Across this market, small business retainers generally run between $1,000 and $5,000 a month. Anything advertised at a couple of hundred is automated reporting with very little human work behind it.

Choosing an SEO Company in Omaha
Four things you can check about us, and about anyone else you are considering.
The prices are on the page
Ours are below, and they are the same numbers as our pricing page. Most agencies in this market make you book a call to find out. If a proposal is the only way to learn the cost, the cost is being set by what you look like you can pay.
The work happens here
Lindsay writes the content. Heather and John work the strategy together. No offshore content mill, no white-label reseller passing your account down a chain. When you ask who did something, there is a name, and it is one of three people you can talk to.
We name our clients
Diebolt in Denver, Water Pros in Aurora, OM Trial in Sioux Falls. Real names on real sites you can open and look at, labeled with the market they are actually in, which is a lower bar than it should be and one a surprising number of agencies do not clear.
We will talk you out of the wrong plan
If your problem is a broken site rather than thin content, more articles will not fix it, and we will say so. If the cheaper tier is the right one, that is the one we quote.
Search works differently by industry
Seven where we have named clients and the differences are worth writing down.
Law Firms
Three firms, three practice areas. City plus practice area is the whole game.
Ranges & Firearms
Google and Meta ban most firearms ads. Search is not one channel here, it is the channel.
Healthcare & Clinics
Three practices. Patients search symptoms, not specialties, and they decide before they call.
Home Services
Two contractors in two states. Service area plus job type, and a map pack that decides most of it.
Financial Advisors
Software will write your site. It will not sit across from a client. Different buyers, different answer.
Breweries & Food
Three places people go for an experience. Hours, photos and reviews outrank anything you write.
Nonprofits
Two audiences, one site: the people you serve and the people who fund you. They search differently.
SEO Questions, Answered Straight
The things people actually ask before they hire anyone.
What are organic SEO services?+
Organic SEO services are the work of earning a position in the unpaid Google results: research into what your customers actually search, content built to answer those searches, technical fixes so Google can read your site properly, local signals like your Google Business Profile, and links from credible sites. You are not buying placement. You are building the thing Google chooses to rank.
How much does SEO cost in Omaha?+
Our plans run $1,750, $3,500 and $9,500 a month, and they are listed on this page rather than behind a sales call. Across the wider market, monthly retainers for a small business typically land between $1,000 and $5,000. Anything advertised at a couple of hundred a month is usually automated reporting with very little human work behind it.
How long does SEO take to work?+
Expect three to six months before movement is clearly attributable, and closer to a year for competitive commercial terms. Technical fixes can show up in weeks. New content ranking, and then climbing, takes longer. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting terms nobody searches or is about to do something that costs you the site.
What is the difference between local SEO and regular SEO?+
Local SEO targets searches with geographic intent and competes for the map pack, the three businesses Google shows above the ordinary results. It leans on your Google Business Profile, consistent business data, and reviews. Regular SEO competes for the results underneath and leans on content and links. Most Omaha businesses need mainly the first and some of the second.
Do you only work with businesses in Omaha?+
No. Omaha is home and a good share of our clients are here, but we work with clients elsewhere too. Local SEO for an Omaha business and SEO for a company selling nationally are different jobs, and we do both.
What happens if I stop paying for SEO?+
The rankings you already earned do not vanish, which is the real argument for organic over ads. They do erode, because competitors keep publishing and Google keeps changing. Stopping means slow decline rather than a switch flipping off. That is genuinely different to paid search, where the traffic ends the same day.
Can I just do SEO myself?+
Some of it, yes, and we will tell you which parts. Claiming and maintaining your Google Business Profile, asking customers for reviews, and writing honestly about what you do are all things an owner can do well without an agency. The technical work, competitive content, and link earning are where hiring generally pays for itself.
Who actually does the work?+
Three people, in-house. Lindsay writes the content, and Heather and John work the SEO strategy as a team. We do not white-label your account to another agency or offshore the writing. You will know who is working on your site, because you will be talking to them.
Do you require a long contract?+
No. Plans are monthly and you can move up or down between tiers. SEO does need time to work, and we will be straight that leaving after two months means paying for the setup and getting none of the return. But that is an argument for patience, not for a contract that removes the choice.
